Announcing Sliding-Scale BWB 8-Pack Pricing!

As a capacity builder for Boulder County’s nonprofit community, SVP designs our programs in response to your input. Our Boards with Brains trainings are no exception, so last month, we announced our 2017 BWB roster. Training in topics like this week’s fundraising session help board members, staff, and community allies easily and affordably build their do-gooder toolkit.

This month we’re excited to announce upgrades to our BWB program pricing. In addition to limited session-specific scholarships for individuals (email to inquire), we’re excited to unveil a new sliding-scale pricing structure for BWB 8-packs.

Research shows that paying for programming helps folks put “skin in the game,” that is, payment helps ensure commitment in folks over a certain income threshold…but, for those below that threshold, fees mean available resources stay out of reach. To mitigate this challenge, we hope organizations with smaller budgets will take advantage of this easy capacity building opportunity.

8-packs bump our already low $40/session fee down even further for those with significant budgetary limitations (SVP’s costs are over $100/attendee per session). Based on organizational budget, find our new sliding-scale pricing for Boards with Brains 8-packs below (for comparison if purchased individually, eight regularly-priced sessions would run $320):

Organization Budget         8pack Fee
$0 to $50,999                         $120 ($15 per session)
$51,000 to $99,999                $160 ($20 per session)
$100,000 to $300,999            $200 ($25 per session)
$301,000+                              $240 ($30 per session)

8-packs are fully transferable, never expire, and help put capacity building education in-reach for many who otherwise couldn’t afford it. Purchase an 8pack through the Eventbrite page for any BWB session (full roster here, or in this print-able PDF). We’ll get in touch when your purchase hits, and provide a unique code for use going forward.

As an organization, we encourage nonprofits to invest in infrastructure, development, and knowledge. We hope this new 8pack pricing helps organization doing good work get even better!
