Leveraging our strengths to assist Boulder County nonprofits

Boulder County is home to thousands of organizations that support our community in countless ways. To ensure that local nonprofits have the help they need to thrive, our Partner driven Resource Teams support short-term consulting projects that are tailored to both the nonprofit’s needs and our Partners’ areas of expertise.

We welcome project requests large and small, and of all shapes and sizes. To streamline the process, we have organized into five Resource Teams:

• Board Development & Recruitment Strategies — Tailored services including board training, planning, and capacity building.
• Fundraising/Development Strategies – Customized help to develop effective fundraising strategies.
• Leadership Development – Nonprofit leaders are paired one-on-one with an SVP Partner to reach their personal and organizational goals.
• Technology — Provides technology assessment and roadmap planning services to ensure that an organization has the right tech tools to meet programmatic and operational goals.
• Strategic Planning — Assists with the development of organizational strategic plans.

Projects undertaken by SVP’s Resource Teams can take between one and six months, and our below-market fees can range from $100 to $2000, depending on an organization’s budget and the scope of the project. Fees help cover SVP’s administrative costs. See the chart below for estimated fees. Your organization’s situation will be considered in determining the cost assessed. Additionally, many projects will require a nonprofit to be well-established, and will need the full support and participation of the board and executive staff.
