Karen Stallard

Development Manager

Karen Stallard is a Longmont native with a lifelong passion for strengthening the community she calls home. With nearly a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector, she believes deeply in the power of relationships and connection—bringing people, ideas, and resources together to create meaningful change. SVP’s collective impact model and mission to build a thriving Boulder County for all align seamlessly with her commitment to collaboration and community-driven progress.

Before joining SVP, Karen served nearly nine years with the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce, where she supported business development and ultimately served as Chief Operations Officer. During her tenure, she led a refresh of the Chamber’s membership and sponsorship structure, expanded organizational resources, and spearheaded the most successful capital campaign in the Chamber’s 130-year history. Her leadership on the award-winning Unity in the Community event reflected her ability to transform ideas into experiences that bring people together.

Most recently, Karen served as Development Operations Officer for UCHealth’s Northern Colorado Foundation, where she supported philanthropic initiatives that make a tangible difference in people’s lives. Known for her collaborative, solutions-focused approach, Karen has helped organizations grow their reach and resources through relationship-driven fundraising and creative strategy.

Karen holds a bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Michigan and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Annie and Millie’s Place, as well as on the Capital Campaign Committee for Recovery Café Longmont. She lives in Longmont with her husband, their dog, and two cats. Together, they are founding members of the local bluegrass band The Tribonacci Trio, and can often be found performing around town and along the Front Range.
