According to Forbes, some 34% of U.S. workers are now working from home; and as nonprofits and businesses reopen, employers will have to future-proof their workplaces if they want to remain viable – from creating flexible schedules to providing mental health supports, and supports for a hybrid staff.
Additionally, and more broadly – as reported by The Chronicle of Philanthropy – the global pandemic, racial tensions, and environmental challenges before us have given rise to widespread discussion about the need for new paradigms that facilitates equity in the workplace. COVID-19, in particular, has magnified the scale of an economy that is out of balance, one in which rules and policies are all-too-often manipulated at the expense of working people across sectors.
At the same time, the shift toward more remote work is sure to have significant repercussions for employees and organizations.
That’s where we come in. At SVP Boulder County, our Resource Teams are focused on helping local nonprofits first meet the immediate needs of their people – leadership, staff, and clients – whose ways of doing things have been changed, perhaps permanently.
From there, we also offer other consulting support or services at low, sliding-scale fees to help nonprofits acknowledge, address, and remedy a range of instabilities in their organizations – from employee wellbeing and productivity in newly remote workforces, to understanding your organization’s technology needs in our “new normal,” to navigating and effectively managing change…and much more.
Learn about our Resource Teams, and tell us what you need. Our Partners are standing by to help you move forward.
