Lisa Hamilton, Market President, for High Country Bank in Longmont joins SVP Boulder County as a new Corporate Impact Partner. High Country Bank is a 140 year old Colorado organization that’s always sought meaningful ways to support the nonprofits in our community — and SVP felt like the right fit.
What Lisa cares about most is close to home: overall affordability for the people working in Boulder County. It’s a topic she thinks about often, and it’s part of what drew her to this kind of work of SVP Boulder County.
Ask Lisa what she’s proudest of, and she won’t point to a single project — it’s the connections. The relationships she’s built within the community have proven genuinely meaningful to her, and that’s still what drives her forward. “Anytime I’m able to offer a different perspective, make a connection, or build my network,” she says, “I feel like my time is spent effectively.” That’s her measure of a good day.
That same instinct for connection shapes how she thinks about community and generosity more broadly — she finds real fulfillment in simply being part of something larger than herself.
Outside of work, Lisa’s been getting into pickleball, though she’s just as interested in what it can teach her as the game itself, she loves learning other people’s leadership styles, on and off the court. And if you’re looking for a local recommendation, she’ll point you toward Longmont’s food and beverage scene, which she thinks deserves a lot more attention than it gets. The Best Pizza and Spicy Chicken sandwich of Denver are located in Longmont.
