Welcome Shannon, SVP’s new Membership Director!

By Olga Heifets

Bringing the unique experience of having already been both an SVP Investee staffer and SVP Partner to the job, today Shannon Sackmann joins SVP Boulder County as Membership Director. And we’re excited to have her join the fold; anyone who says “I believe in celebrating success and empowering others to succeed” should fit right in at the SVP office!

During her time as Chief Managing Officer for alumnus SVP Investee Dental Aid, Shannon interfaced with SVP Partners while overseeing all aspects of fund development and marketing. Prior to her work with Dental Aid, Shannon cultivated donors on behalf of the good work of Engineers Without Borders USA and other cause-related organizations.

Shannon believes strongly in the value of focused leadership development, and can’t wait to dig in and help enhance the experience of and find best-suited opportunities for all of Boulder County’s Partners. Her responsibilities will include facilitating a high-quality, engaged, an impactful experience for Partners while contributing to the financial sustainability of SVP Boulder County.

SVP Partners are invited to come meet Shannon at our second quarter PARTNER BOOTCAMP, “Investee Projects: Behind the Curtain” coming up Friday May 8th at 8-10am. SVP Partner Amy Maranowicz will facilitate participants in a conversation about the role of SVP Partners engaging in investee projects with success, recognizing you don’t need to be the internal organizational expert to help these organizations with your skills. This will be an interactive discussion, attendees should come prepared to both share your expertise and learn from others in this peer exchange session; RSVP to attend, here.
