As we find ourselves and our community confronted with significant flooding and accessibility issues our thoughts and concerns naturally turn to the immediate safety of those we love and damage to our community. We know that many people close to SVP are experiencing flooding, inability to leave their homes, loss of power and water, and more. Know our hearts are with you.
In the coming days the damage will be assessed and our community will come together to rebuild. It is not yet clear what role SVP Boulder County shall play but we will find our place in recovery efforts.
In the meantime, we are staying abreast of emergency response and effective ways to contribute to relief efforts.
- Foothills United Way and The Community Foundation are partnering to raise money through the Foothills Flood Relief Fund.
- The Longmont Community Foundation is raising money through the St Vrain Flooding Relief Fund
- And, Colorado is centering its efforts through www.helpcoloradonow.org.
- Folks in Boulder can find resources for clean up and other support on the Boulder Chamber Facebook page.
