Execs Evolve: Nonprofit Leadership Coaching through SVP's Newest Program

Incredible opportunity comes out of self-reflection and analysis.  As we’ve fortified SVP Boulder County over the past year, we’ve had the chance to evaluate our capacity building services and changing needs in the community.  SVP continues to give as much time, energy, and money to our traditional nonprofit investments AND we want to do more! To that end, we’re excited to announce Execs Evolve, SVP Boulder County’s new pilot capacity building program for nonprofit leaders.

Execs Evolve is a nine-month executive coaching program for nonprofit directors, provided by SVP Partners. Coaching services are highly sought after in Boulder County’s nonprofit community. Considered an integral part of an SVP investment, coaching nonprofit leaders is essentially “baked in” to the capacity building work our Partners deliver working side-by-side on projects with Investees. In surveys and focus groups, Investees tell us coaching is highly impactful and that they wish every local nonprofit could have access to coaching.  It is also the top request made of SVP by nonprofit leaders throughout the county.

The specific gap that exists is in the one-on-one, intensive coaching relationship that can support leaders in developing their leadership approaches and their management skills.  In the general market, this type of coaching is priced out-of-reach for most nonprofit directors. This type of formal coaching program from SVP marries the exceptional skill sets of our Partners, with a significant community need.

Broadening SVP’s continuum of capacity building services leverages resources and people in a way that makes our mission even more impactful. Want specifics? Get more details about the program in the Execs Evolve Fact Sheet.
