SVP Announces New Board Member Andrew Burwick

Social Venture Partners Boulder County (SVP) proudly announces the appointment of a new member to the Board of Directors, Andrew Burwick.

“We are excited to have Andrew joining our Board of Directors. Andrew has offered so much to our community in so many ways and continues to find ways for SVP to connect and innovate,” said Joshua Silberstein, CEO, SVP Boulder County. “We are excited to learn and work beside Andrew as Social Venture Partners continues our work to strengthen our Boulder County community.”

Since moving to Colorado more than 20 years ago, Andrew Burwick has been an active supporter of Boulder’s nonprofit community. He has served on the boards of organizations focused on housing, the arts, and advocacy—including as board chair. Over the past three years as an SVP Partner, Andrew has participated in the Impact Cohort and the Investment Selection Committee, and led a redesign of SVP Boulder’s Organizational Capacity Assessment Tool.

Andrew’s professional career centers on social policy research, nonprofit strategy, and organizational leadership. He consults with government agencies and philanthropies to design and conduct studies of programs and initiatives across a range of fields—including early childhood education, housing and homelessness prevention, child welfare, and nutrition assistance. He is a strong advocate for data-driven decision-making as a powerful tool to advance positive social change.

“I’m honored to join the board of a group so dedicated to strengthening local nonprofits. The organizations that SVP supports are addressing some of Boulder County’s biggest challenges—affordable housing, food security, and access to childcare, to name a few—and striving to make our community a vibrant, welcoming place to live and work,” said Andrew Burwick.
