It is our sincere pleasure to introduce our community to Amanda Lee, a new SVP Partner who joined in 2026.
Amanda came to SVP after more than two decades building teams and solving complex problems across the tech industry — locally she was instrumental in growing the Boulder Google site from 200 to 2000 people. For her, joining SVP was a natural deepening of a commitment to community she’s held for a long time. “I believe authentic connection in community is one of the best antidotes to a chaotic world,” Amanda shares, “and the humans of SVP Boulder County have built intentional, impactful programming to do just that.”
Her passion for Boulder County runs deep. For the past four years, Amanda has volunteered with Blue Sky Bridge, where she has seen firsthand how early intervention can change a child’s trajectory. She cares deeply about women and children having the support they need to thrive, and about reducing isolation by creating spaces where people genuinely connect. “Strong communities grow best intentionally,” she says — a belief that drew her to SVP’s model from the start.
Amanda brings a personal story of remarkable courage to this community as well. For over 20 years, she has shared her experience as a sexual assault survivor with thousands of people around the world, advocating for survivor legislation, speaking out against harmful bills, and helping women access resources to recover and rebuild. (Trigger warning: sexual assault discussion) You can hear Amanda’s story in her own words here. It is work she describes as deeply meaningful, and it has shaped how she shows up for others in every room she enters.
What might surprise fellow Partners is that before a career detour back into tech, Amanda nearly completed a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. “That experience has been wildly helpful in both personal and professional settings,” she laughs — and it shows in the warmth and genuine curiosity she brings to every conversation.
When not getting involved with community Amanda is adventuring with her husband Ivan and their dogs Mr. Rogers and Dottie — yes, Mr. Rogers, because she was shaped early by the real one and the name just stuck. Her curiosities span women’s health, weightlifting, wine, impact investing, comedy, cooking, and fashion, sometimes all in the same week. If you’re looking for a Boulder County hidden gem, she’ll point you straight to Highland City Club, a social club set in the refurbished oldest schoolhouse in Boulder where curious people gather over good food to talk about everything from art to space to finance.
Please join us in welcoming Amanda Lee to SVP Boulder County — we are so glad she’s here!
